This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what your rights are. It is written in plain language on purpose: this is a small personal website, and there is very little to explain.

This website does not use cookies. It does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or tracking service. It does not profile visitors, does not show advertising, and does not share, sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
If you use the contact form, the following is collected:
Name, email and message are used only to read your message and reply to you. The legal basis is your consent, and where relevant the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The date, time and IP address are recorded for a different reason: to limit automated spam by restricting how many messages can be sent from the same address within an hour. The legal basis here is legitimate interest in keeping the form usable (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Messages are stored in a file on the hosting server that is not reachable from the web, and are not forwarded to any third-party service.
Like every website, this one runs on a server that keeps technical access logs. These typically contain the IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and the browser used. They are generated and kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Hosting is provided by Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), which acts as a data processor and stores the data described above on its servers within the European Union.
Some parts of the page — the typeface and the icon set — are loaded from external networks: Google Fonts, jsDelivr and Cloudflare. When your browser requests those files, it necessarily reveals your IP address to those providers. No cookies are set by this website in the process, and no data is sent to them by us.
This website links out to streaming platforms and social networks such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Those links open in a new tab, and nothing is loaded from those platforms while you are on this site. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that platform applies, not this one.
Messages from the contact form are kept for as long as needed to reply and to keep track of the conversation, and are deleted when no longer relevant. The records used for spam limiting are deleted automatically within one hour. Server access logs are kept by the hosting provider according to its own retention policy.
Under the GDPR you may ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting what was lawful before.
To exercise any of these rights, write to eleonorapellegrino.music@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
If the way this website handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date below will change with it.
